Melt & Pour Exfoliating and Nourishing Soap

Description

This Melt & Pour soap is a genuine skin care product, combining nourishing and exfoliating properties thanks to prickly pear seed powder. Rich in coconut oil, it cleanses while nourishing and softening the skin. Its sweet, fruity fragrance brings a sensation of freshness and pleasure to use. Ideal for daily use, it is formulated to remove dead skin cells while providing hydration and softness.

Ingredients

For 100 g of soap :

  • 83.6 g Melt and Pour
  • 10 g Coconut Oil
  • 2 g Pink Clay
  • 8 drops Vitamin E
  • 4 g Prickly Pear Seed Powder
  • 2 g Green Mandarin essential oil (ORGANIC)
  • 1 g Benzoin Absolute (ORGANIC)

Preparation

  1. Melt & Pour mixture : In a beaker, cut the Melt & Pour into thin strips and weigh 83.6 g. Place in a bain-marie and melt at 70°C. Stir gently to avoid bubbles and to remove any unmelted pieces.

  2. Prepare remaining ingredients: In a separate beaker, melt the coconut oil, pink clay and vitamin E, stirring to homogenize.

  3. Mixing the phases: Add the coconut oil + clay + vitamin E mixture to the Melt & Pour melted at 70°C. Mix well.

  4. Add the prickly pear seed powder and stir with a spatula to blend well.

  5. Add essential oils: Remove from the bain-marie. When the mixture reaches 65°C, add the green mandarin essential oil and benzoin absolute. If the mixture starts to congeal, reheat for 1 minute in the bain-marie while stirring.

  6. Molding: Shake and quickly pour into a mold.

  7. Finishing: Place in the fridge for 1 hour to set completely.

Appearance and Odor

  • Appearance: Dark red soap with brown seeds
  • Odor: Sweet and fruity

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place for 3 months.

Directions for use

Allow soap to dry for at least 24 hours before use. Formulated for daily use, apply the soap to the body, massaging into the skin for 2-3 minutes, then rinse off.
